Everything you need to know for your trip to La Cala de Mijas, from flight to check-in.
Flight
Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is the nearest airport, just 30 minutes from the apartment. Multiple airlines fly daily direct from the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.
Flights are cheapest from January to March and in November. Book 2–3 months ahead for the best high-season prices.
Transfer
A taxi from Málaga Airport to La Cala de Mijas costs about €45–55 and takes 30 minutes. Private transfers can be pre-booked from €55.
Cheapest option: the Cercanías train to Fuengirola (about €3) plus a taxi (about €15) or bus to La Cala. A rental car is practical if you want to explore the region.
Rental car
A rental car is ideal for visiting Marbella, Málaga, Ronda or the mountain villages. All major rental companies operate from Málaga Airport (Hertz, Avis, Europcar, plus locals like Centauro and OK Mobility).
Prices start from €15/day in low season up to €40/day in July/August. The apartment includes its own covered parking space.
Check-in
Standard check-in from 16:00, check-out before 11:00. Our host welcomes you personally and gives a short tour of the apartment.
Earlier arrival or later departure is possible on request (subject to availability). Our host is reachable throughout your stay.
